DMA prepared a needs assessment and conducts ongoing evaluation of the DPH BSAS culturally and linguistically responsive IDEA workforce initiative, formally the Latino Addiction Counselor Education Program and the Black Addiction Counselor Education Program. DMA’s process has documented program activities, gathered and summarized stakeholder feedback, and provided actionable process improvement recommendations that support BSAS’ goal to diversify the addiction workforce.
