DMA provided both project management and evaluation support to North Suffolk Community Services (NSCS) to complete a three-year Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) project, funded by SAMHSA to expand service access at its Freedom Trail Clinic (FTC) located in downtown Boston, MA. This project 1) improved medical and behavioral health care integration and engagement for patients with serious mental illness (SMI) and co-occurring disorder; 2) increased treatment engagement for patients with SMI experiencing homelessness; and 3) expanded access for Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients. In particular, DMA analyzed project data and prepared progress reports detailing achievements, barriers, efforts to overcome barriers, implementation challenges, and QI efforts.
