Ms. McKinney joined DMA in November 2023 as an Associate. She provides project management and evaluation support for the Department of Mental Health Paid Internship evaluation project and both quantitative and qualitative analytic support to multiple other DMA projects.

Prior to joining DMA, Ms. McKinney worked for Economic Mobility Pathways (EMPath), providing monitoring and evaluation support for EMPath’s shelter and economic mobility programs, while also doing data capacity building work with a network of social-service providers across the country. She currently serves as an Advisory Board member of the Greater Boston Evaluation Network. Cara holds a Masters of Public Health with a concentration in global health program design, monitoring & evaluation from Boston University and Bachelors degrees in International Studies and Spanish from Bowling Green State University.
